BalticSeaH2

The BalticSeaH2 project is building a large cross-border hydrogen valley between Finland and Estonia to support clean energy and reduce emissions. In the project, BIA coordinates replication and exploitation activities to help make the hydrogen economy a reality in the Baltic Sea Region.

Green Technologies

Impact Baltic

The Impact Baltic project helps social enterprises in the Baltic States get the funding they need by creating a new impact fund and helping them become ready for investment. Led by BIA, the project brings partners together to establish a new fund and support 20 social enterprises and grow social impact in the region.

Forest, Soil and Biodiversity Accelerator

This Accelerator aims to provide comprehensive development support to early-stage startups that focus on innovative green solutions in the forestry, soil and biodiversity sector. BIA is responsible for the programme, mentoring and investment strategies. BIA leads the communication activities of this project.

ELOBIO

ELOBIO is developing low-temperature electrolysers that enable the large-scale production of hydrogen and valuable low-carbon chemicals from cellulosic biomass. In the project, BIA is responsible for conducting market analyses and supporting the practical adoption of the results.

Interconnected and inclusive innovation ecosystems focused on ICT and mobility (INFIMO) is a Horizon Europe project focused on strategic collaboration between clusters and diverse innovation actors from Estonia, Portugal, and Georgia. INFIMO is using information and communication technologies (ICT) for digital and green transition in various economic sectors aligned with the Industry 5.0 (moving towards Industry 6.0) framework.
