NOBALIS
NOBALIS project (Nordic-Baltic universities boosting entrepreneurial and innovation support systems) is implemented by Nordic-Baltic consortium consisting of five agricultural and technical universities and two organisations with expertise in tech transfer, start-up support, and acceleration programmes. In line with regional smart specialisation strategies and research areas of the participating higher education institutions (HEI), the programme is set out to develop, share, and expand innovation and entrepreneurship (I&E) support capabilities in the areas of sustainable food production, circular economy, and new green value chains.
NOBALIS will facilitate innovation and entrepreneurship capacity in the universities by mapping and sharing of good practices on innovation management, institutional support, innovation and entrepreneurship curricula development and implementation, startup support and mentorship for students, academic and non-academic staff, and the creation of new partnerships.
BIA has a leading role in carrying out the NOBALIS Entrepreneurial and Innovation Capacity Development (EICD) Programme. This is a 3-month programme focused on food, biotech and bioresources, offering:
