GREENTECH PRE-ACCELATOR PROGRAMME IN SAAREMAA

The project focuses on carrying out the first pre-accelerator programme in Saaremaa to identify and develop novel business ideas in the field of GreenTech. The programme helps to answer the question of which could be the new products and services contributing to the development of the green economy of the Estonian islands.

The focus is on the following fields:

The pre-accelerator programme targets (potential) early-stage start-up teams (TRL 1-4) with a good business potential but currently lacking the skills to realise this potential on their own. The programme focuses on the development of critical competencies to remove barriers related to this stage, building high-quality teams and increasing the general quality of the (future) startups. The programme prepares the participants for successfully applying for accelerators/programmes focused on the next stages of development, increasing the investment readiness of the participants and introducing the principles of impact measurement and management. The three best teams that have completed the programme will also get montary awards in the total sum of 4000€.
